About this item
Split open down the back and deveined, with the shell and tail left on so they keep their shape on the plate. The butterfly cut flattens the meat into a wider surface, which means it cooks through faster and more evenly than a whole prawn and picks up a better crust. Thick, springy and sweet, and just as good out of an air fryer as off a grill.

Storage & thawing
Keep frozen packs at -18°C or below and thaw them overnight in the fridge rather than in water. Live shellfish are best cooked on the day they arrive. Once a pack is thawed, cook it the same day and do not refreeze it.

Orders are packed cold and sent by courier within New Zealand. Keep the pack chilled on arrival and move it straight to the freezer or fridge.
